Did I mention I'm no photographer......I had my mini I Pad to take photos of the show and tell at our quilt group last night.....an ambitious endeavor to say the least. Some how the video was on and I didn't realize it until I tried to download them this morning and You Tube came up to be selected. :-( Now how that happened, I have no idea. This is the only picture I took last night that wasn't a video. And it's an amazing quilt. The quilt was made by Kerry Green of Kerry Stitch Designs. This is a block of the month which she received from Australia. The quilt is called Urban Owls by Wendy Williams and was ordered from Material Obsessions. There is so much wonderful detail....you can look and look and think you've seen it all, and then you come back and look and there is still something new to see. Kerry always has maintained that she is not good at piecing quilts, well she is having a difficult time convincing any of us of that now. We have such a wonderful and talented group of women that meet and I'm so sorry I am not able to share all of the inspiring quilts that the ladies shared......better luck next time.
The 'Silent Night' winter quilt is completed except for the label. My very talented graphic designer will be working on the pattern today....the end is in sight.....for now. In fact a friend asked me to go to a movie this afternoon, and I have to admit that I woke up excited this morning thinking of the pleasure of eating popcorn with a friend and enjoying a movie.
