Good Morning! Our quilt group met last evening at Elaine's Quilt Block, and what a night. I took a lot of pictures, and saved them to a file, and now can't figure out how to transfer them all onto my blog. I was so excited to share them all with you this morning as they were so very wonderful.......in fact when I got home last eve. I had a difficult time settling down to sleep. I was reviewing quilts all night in my dreams.....pleasant dreams I must say. This is such a great group of talented women who meet one time a month....and of course we've all become friends. So for the month of Thanksgiving, let me say "When I count my blessings, I count this group of friends twice."
During this month where I want to focus on Gratitude, there is a U Tube video I would recommend. After I watched it I did not have words to describe what I had heard. Absolutely Amazing! See if you can bring it up, Gratitude: Louie Schwartzberg @ TEDXSF
Here's one more thing I feel compelled to share today. My sweet adorable son in law, (just ask my daughter) tried to teach me the ways on this computer - blogging- picture transferring thing I attempt to do. Well, he just called and will drop by this week-end to help me with this latest glitch I'm involved with. YEA!!!!!! The glass is definitely half full today...and things are looking up! :-)
"The root of joy is gratefulness." -David Steindl - Rast May your heart be filled with joy today.
Norma, I'm just like you when it comes to the computer...thank goodness I am married to a computer geek! What I did when I first started blogging was I kept a book...and wrote all the steps down...How to Download Pictures...followed with all the steps, How to put pictures onto my blog(and all the steps), How to Link up other Blogs (and all the steps),...you get the idea. It really HELPED a lot and I didn't have to bother hubby that often!! So when SIL comes get the book out and start writing!! :o))

Too pretty! What sized hexies did Beth use for this? I'm working on the same design and I'm almost ready to start assembling the units together into the quilt top. I'm using 3/8" papers...... Love it!
ReplyDeleteI believe 1/2 inch. What are you going to do with yours? Beth is going to mount hers on cloth and have it framed. I'd love to see yours when it is finished.
