The weather has decided to be winter at last........last week it was in the 50's, I would dash from the house with a light jacket or not....at the most a sweater or sweatshirt. Now it has shifted, and it is 3 degrees. A good day to stay tucked inside my warm and cozy house. I feel so privileged that I have the option to choose. A year ago I would have been bundled up and heading out to see my patients in their homes. I loved my work and always felt cheered after helping them, but this is real luxury to have the choice....and I choose home. I'm living the dream! :-)
This quilt is called "Hark", and it is from a Red Wagon book called "Christmas or Not", by Gerry Kimmel. A fantastic book, chucked full of good things. I look forward to bringing this quilt out every year.
Have I mentioned a time or two about the pleasure of having a nap or two? I believe I might have mentioned it on occasion, like maybe yesterday. Well, here is another favorite napping spot. On occasion by husband and I have been know to nap at the same time. I prefer the chair, so this is his hang out.....and their must be a quilt close by and ready for use. And there is a pillow, the red one as the wool angel pillow is off limits. This pillow was made for me by my friend Kerry Green. I received it from her a few years ago and am thrilled to bring it out every year. It says, "May angels keep you in all thy ways"........just lovely!
