News Report coming your way...

This is Norma Whaley of Timeless Traditions Quilts reporting to you from Stow, Ohio.  Our flight attendant on Southwest made our trip memorable to say the least.  He started out by asking if anyone had lost a roll of 100.00 dollar bills wrapped in a red rubber band.........and then proceeded by informing us that he had the red rubber band if any one wanted to claim it!!  It only got better.  Then he told us that their was a $25,000  fine for smoking in the bathrooms......if we wanted to spend that kind of money we would have flown on United.  During the life vest demonstration he said that the over achiever's could blow on the tube on the vest to help inflate it and then he advised to doggy paddle to shore and the crew would follow with beer and pretzels.  He signed off by telling us that we were to listen to every word he was about to say, and then he said we were all verrry sleepy and getting sleepierrrr,  in other words we were not to bother the flight attendants.  We had excellent service.

The little note book with the cover I made for it will be the gift I give today.   I have one in my purse made for me by a friend, and I love pulling it out of my purse to write a note.....  And it will go to the first person who emails me back at www.norma@timelesstraditionsquilts.com

Today we are investigating Amish country today.  We left 15 inches of snow in our yard at home to rain here.  It has rained all night....quite a change.  Have a great week end and check in again tomorrow for the next give away.

  1. Norma, Thanks for a day brightener. I loved reading about the flight attendant and his funny comments. There was an airline in South Africa, called Kalula, that used to do that on every flight and it made the trip quite delightful. Have a wonderful day! Love you, Liz

  7. Stow, Ohio is right next to where I grew up. Your flight attendant story is funny. How nice to have a good start to your flight during this busy holiday season.
