Still More......

Good Morning!  It looks like we may see the sun today, and the birds, the flowers and me will be rejoicing!

There was an enormous amount of talent in that big sewing room at Zermatt.  This is another of the stunning quilts which were shown...below is a close up.

What a bunch of hexagons the creator of this quilt made. The quilt is an antique that has been cherished and well taken care of.  Just lovely!

How about this diamond beauty?  Very masterfully done.

And here is one of my favorite people....Sweet Emily!  Last year at the retreat, she was very pregnant.  She is the mother of a baby boy who will soon to be a year. Family members jumped to her aid so that she could come and sew with her equally sweet mother.

One more of her creations.  Emily is amazing.  She is a part time nurse, a massive organic gardener, has chickens and at least one goat, maybe more.  And look at that great smile.  I had hoped my daughter Abbie could have met her before she moved away.  Abbie has her garden seedlings growing under her grow light.....and has already transplanted one of her melons.

This is Jenny Jones peeking over the top of her charming quilt....she makes beautiful things.

A close up peek.

Someone was working on my Silent Night design...

She put a wreath on the door...cute!

One of the cute girls from California was making my Navajo Code Talker design.  The colors are beautiful.  It came from a kit that was purchased at Corn Wagon Quilt Co. in Springville, Utah.  You can see the other squares laid out on the floor behind her.

I loved this charming little quilt.

And how about this tote for your mat......with pockets to tuck away other supplies.  I take a smaller one, but this one is ready for some serious cutting!

Happy Week end......:-))

What pattern is the first quilt shown? Looks like Dresden plates with applique in the center? It is beautiful!
