She Let Go

The Geek Squad hasn't yet arrived to do some adjustments on my computer, so still no photos today.  I have bunches to share with you. I decided that today I would share a great piece that my friend Trudy shared with me.

She Let Go

"She let go, without a thought or a word.  She let go.

She let go of fear and she let go of judgments.

She let go of the confluence of opinions always swarming around in her head.

She let go of indecision within her.

Completely and without further hesitation or concern, she let go.

She did not ask anyone for advice.

She did not read a book on how to let go,

She let go of all of the memories that held her back.

She let go of all of the planning and all of the calculations about how to do it all "just right'.

She did not promise to let go.  She did not record the date.  She did not make any announcement.

She just let go.

She did not analyze whether she should let go.  She did not call friends for discussion.

Indeed, she did not utter a word.

She just let go.

No one was around.  There was no congratulations or recognition.  No one thanked her, No one praised her.  No one noticed.

Rather, like a leaf falling from a tree.........she let go.

There was no effort and there was no struggle.

It was neither good nor was it bad.  It was only what it was and it is just that.

In the space of letting go, she let it all be.  A small smile did come over her face and she was very calm.

And, the sun and the moon shone on forevermore."

I picked up a quilt at my quilter today and I am very pleased and excited about it.  It will be called Amish Grace.  I dropped off the new fall wall hanging called Harvest Blessings.

More gentle rain fell through the night and again this morning.  It is making everything so fresh and green.....what a blessing this rain is.  As my friend from Pa. says.....Keep a happy heart.
