And we are having more rain :-)) nice and gentle and oh, so lovely........the air is being cleansed and the earth is happy to be soaking it all up. And I have my first red tomatoes on the vine. Over the week end I visited the local farmers market and bought a bunch of goodies. We enjoyed fresh corn on the cob, green beans, cucumber salad and caprese salad, last night for dinner. Chad grilled the chicken to go with it all. I must tell you about the caprese salad that Abbie made. It was the best I had ever has. The platter had a bed of baby salad greens, then the tomatoes with the fresh mozzarella cheese and the basil. The key ingredient here was the balsamic vinegar which she had slowly reduced to a syrup.........yum! I'm enjoying having someone cook for us. This morning she is making oven pancakes which we will have with the blackberries and raspberries purchased at the farmer's market.....Life Is Good.
I have made several kits for this which I will be taking to San Diego for their quilting adventure.....classes and a venders market.

The picture of the completed Amish Grace quilt should be here.......sorry that it isn't here and accounted for! Maybe tomorrow.
Here is a close up of the corner.
There was just a thunder roll as I am typing...hope the rain continues all day.
