A new project.....

........that little skiff of snow got be in the mood to start a winter quilt.  I've had this sketched out in my ideas box for a bit, besides I just couldn't keep my sewing room too orderly. Once again there is disorder......piles of fabric here and there, but not as bad as last time.

I'll let you speculate about what will be in the center.  I'm leaving in the morning tomorrow to go to Page, Arizona for a quilting retreat where I'll be teaching.  So, I will not be blogging until I return, which will be Monday morning.

The backgrounds are some of the wonderful Diamond Textiles I've recently purchased.  I will give away some fat quarters next week, so stay tuned in.

I've mixed cottons with homespuns, and I'm pleased with the outcome.  It will be an applique project.  I'll have something to get stitching on while in Page.
