....and there is snow in the mountains, enough for some of the ski resorts to open. I'm so happy to be inside where it is warm and cozy. Last evening, I completed the last of the applique on my new design.....Winter Wonderland. Today I will sew it together and off to the quilter it will go.
There is a little bit of wool used,.......the 2 snowflakes, all of the berries, and the arms, nose and snowman features. Otherwise I have used homespuns and a few printed cottons. All of my backgrounds are Diamond Textiles. The size is approximately 48X64 inches.
My goodness....the a in stitches on backwards in wonderland......it just occurred to me! :-) Still have time to correct that.
And here is my sweet baby Wyatt. He is so bright eyed, and I can tell he is growing. A week from today we plan on being on our way to Ohio. Ben and I look forward to cooking Thanksgiving dinner together. We have memories of cooking together in the past, so we are looking forward to sharing the kitchen once again.
