My Favorite....

......there were many lovely quilts, but this was my favorite.

This wonderful quilt was submitted by Claudia Blair at the retreat in Page. It was started by her mother at the age of 5 and she is now 86.  It has endured the test of time and will be around for a good many years to come......what a treasure.  I love old quilts, old houses, old dishes, old people, you name it, I'm drawn to the old and vintage.....they all have such a story to tell.   By the way, I love new babies too, especially the little boy named Wyatt who lives in Ohio.......much too far a way.  We will be going back to see him, and oh yes, his parents also.....for Thanksgiving. :-)

A couple of close ups.

Last evening, our quilt group met at Elaine's quilt block.  Valerie shared the next three goodies designed by Cherie Payne.  Now, she'll have some wonderful new things for next fall.

It is a cold and overcast day....a perfect day for staying tucked inside.  I'm working diligently on my new winter quilt and hope to finish it today or tomorrow.

Enjoy your day, and keep a happy heart.
