My old friends have come for a visit......

.....that is what it feels like when I bring quilts from past years out of the cupboard and get reacquainted with them all over again.  It's love at first sight.  There is nothing quite like a quilt to add warmth and coziness to a home. And quilts are definitely filled with memories.
Christmas in the Village Green.....I will always remember my friend Claire Birch from Canada, when I look at this quilt.  She is the person who provided the name for this pattern.  The first person to contact me at will receive a free pattern for this quilt.

The birds and berries are from wool.  Thangles make for quick and easy construction.

This cuddly, cute Santa is something I purchased at a quilt show where I was a vendor
So you see, I am making a little progress with the decorating. :-)

"Life is not a path of coincidence, happenstance, and luck, but rather an unexplainable, meticulously charted course for one to touch the life of others, and make a difference in the world."
-Barbara Dillingham
