The visit continues.......

.....Let me show you what I saw when I stepped through the door of Valerie's quilt room.

At this point I started to hyperventilate!!!!  Layers upon layers of quilted goodness...... I wanted to see every one, but perhaps she can start by sharing them with us at our quilt group.  Valerie.....hint, hint!  And if she does, then I can share them with you.

I love everything with houses....this design is by Jan Patek.

The rocking chair is a family heirloom.....Valerie told me how old, but I was to up in the clouds with quilts, that I do not remember.

Valerie did not want this one photographed because of the goof in it......check out the left hand corner block.....it is facing the wrong way......Her humility block.  I still love this quilt....I tend to like the imperfect things.  And of course she did not notice it until the quilt was quilted.

I love the quilting on this pastel beauty.

What a perfectly wrapped package...

Absolutely love this design by Cheri Payne.

A gal who makes this many quilts must have fabric!!!!  Plus Valerie has gone to Sample Spree at quilt market.

Isn't this a sweet one?  Love that potted flower.

And I will stop with Valerie's first quilt.....even hand quilted.  Love these traditional quilts too.

  6. Hi Norma, is there any way of finding out the pattern name of one of the quilts that you photographed at your friend Vicki's???? I must say, Vicki & I have allot of the same tastes! Totally enjoyed your pictures of your friends quilting room!! The quilt I am wanting to know about is in the first picture, its the Santa Quilt behind Cheri Payne's red basket quilt that takes center stage. I would appreciate it if at all possible, Thanks, Tammy
