This little gem was returned to me just in time.......it is called Winterberry.
The Winterberry table runner was something I completed last winter......and at last it is home to be enjoyed on my table. The bowls, greenery and the berries are from wool.......otherwise it is cotton.
Home at last!
The Journey Begins, by Needle Love is center stage over the fireplace. I haven't hung the stockings with care.....as my adult children suggest that we give a gift of our time and go out for a lovely dinner together for our Christmas....and that sounds delightful! They will come to our house on Christmas Eve. for dinner and games.
I was given this delightful book for my birthday......and I spent many enjoyable stolen minutes now and then to read Susan's account of her romance with hew husband and their trip by ship to England and then her account of the 2 months they spent there. If anyone is wanting to spend extended time in England this is a must read. It is simply sweet and charming.
Tomorrow is the day for the second Wed Drawing. Remember the winners are notified by reading my blog on that day. And for today, the first person to respond to www.norma@timelesstraditionsquilts.com

ReplyDeleteHello Norma,
ReplyDeleteYour photographs are beautiful! The Journey Begins quilt with Santa in the woods was designed by Gerry Kimmel-Carr when she had Red Wagon Quilts. Gerry & I have been friends for over 30 years, so when she retired I moved her inventory to our warehouse. We still carry the quilt book titled A NICE MIX which has this particular quilt included ...
