A lovely day with friends......

Leslie and I spent a special day down in Highland, Utah with some of our favorite ladies.  I was thinking on the way home, what a marvelous gift it is to only see these ladies once or twice a year, and how we are always able to resume our friendship where we left off.  The friendship we enjoy is effortless and heart warming.  This beautiful quilt was shared by Evvone.  It was one to oohhh and aahhh over.  I think I have a closer shot coming up.

Sherrie has completed this beautiful and stunning red quilt.....It was in one of the recent Quilt Mania magazines, a design by Polly Minick.

Flora recently finished this design by Sue Spargo.....I believe it is permissible to show this design of hers, because it has been published some time ago.  Flora used all cotton, and it was very nice done like this.  It would save on the cost of the creation and work well for those who are allergic to colon.

Flora also completed this quilt.....

A closer look.....the background is the post card fabric.  It was charming used in this way.

This is a quilt which Evvone  made after taking Fora's class last year at Bryce Canyon.......speaking of which, we will be heading to Bryce a week from today.  It a special time that we look forward to every year.  The quilting friends we've met there in the past are near and dear to our hearts, and we look forward to this time to reconnect with each other.
