I have a very talented friend.......

....and her name is Sandi McKell.

Handi Quilter in Salt Lake City has Sandy's quilts hanging, and lucky me, she took me there to see them.....what a treat!

What a beautiful quilt this is...... just love it on the black background.

Sandi enjoys needle turn as I do for her applique method of choice.

Scrappy quilts like this one are always a favorite of mine.

The quilting has all been done by Sandi, as she has a Handi Quilter.

Soft and lovely.....

I will have many more of her quilts to show you over the next week.

Chad and I had a busy day working in our yard.  He added some edging and fresh top soil.....but first he and I went to lunch.

  5. I went back to handiquilter to look at her quilts twice. Amazing appliqué, piecing, quilting, and fabric choices. Thanks for featuring my sister on your blog.

  6. Thank you for using correct grammar. Case in point:
"first he and I went to lunch"

So many people would have said "him and I went to lunch". So refreshing that someone else out there knows the correct way to say this. Now, off my soapbox ....
