Friends Gather......

....and inspiration abounded.  Plus we enjoy each others company so very much.  It was a nurturing evening.  We were indeed fed with needle and thread! :-)

Marilyn completed this lovely quilt top...we all oohed and awed sufficiently and I'm certain you are also.

A close up peek.

Marilyn, has been busy....no idle time for her.

We loved the toile which she used for her Irish Chain.

Julie is getting a head start on Gypsy Wife.  She is taking a class on it this winter.  The pattern has a few problems, thus the head start.

Beth has been busy making yo yo's .  She made this table topper for her daughter.

Brittany created a masterpiece.  She has been collecting Liberty of London fabrics and has made this quilt top  and it will be for her friend.  We all want to be Brittany's friend, don't we?

The stars are 3 inches.......sweet little things.

I have some close ups so that you can see how charming the fabrics are.

She spent some effort in fussy cutting some of them to take full advantage of the charm of the fabric.

And Lil continues to work on her Lucy Boston quilt.  She has all of her blocks finished and now she is connecting them.  I can hardly wait to see the finished top.  She is planning on hand quilting it, so she will have a wonderful heirloom quilt.

This quote is especially for me.  As I get older, I find myself evaluating what my priorities are.......no time to waste!  :-)
