I've been stitching....

And this is what I've created.

This is the first project that will be offered on the new
Facebook group which will be called....Timeless Traditions Bits and Bobs.  This design will be offered for the month of January and then a new design will be offered for February.  The projects will have kits available and will only be available for the month in which it is offered.  After that it will be found at quilt stores. So you my readers will get first chance.

A close up look.

This picture was sent to me to be shared....it is The Woodland Tree Skirt made into a throw for the back of the couch.  I wrote down the name of the person who made this lovely piece, but wouldn't you know it, I can not find where I wrote it down.  So Sorry!  Other quilters have told me that they chose to make this pattern into a table topper, and where the hole for the tree was, they placed a star in that spot. Many great ideas!

I will share a few more of Brenda's blocks today.  And by the way I still haven't gone shopping.  But tomorrow I will be meeting for a quilt group at a quilt shop so that is about to change.

I love the log cabin design.

I believe this block stands for the hospitals that were created during the civil war.  I've ordered the book, that was a temptation I could not avoid.

  4. Ohhh my....I really like your new January design, I am going to have to check out Facebook, is the club already there???? You have motivated me into getting back into working on my civil war blocks, I started but then ran into a rough or tough patch almost a year ago & haven't gotten back....Enjoyed reading your post! Thanks, Tammy

  6. If these patterns are just offered on Facebook then what about those of us who do not use Facebook?

  7. I love your stitching! Is the Facebook group with Julie Kursave's Wool Applique or are you doing your own group on Facebook? I don't want to miss it!

  8. So...I went to sign up for your new FB page 'Timeless Traditions Bits and Bobs' and I don't think I have the right link. On that FB page it's all about advertising stuff like books, Crate and Barrel etc. Is this the correct link? I am such a nerd on the computer...

  11. Wow! Absolutely LOVE your new applique project! I do not have a facebook account... so hopefully you will offer kits on the blog too? If not... then I guess I'll just hafta wait until the pattern is released in March... lol! ;-)

  12. Being an avid woolie, I would be interested in following along with your project also, but I don't do Facebook either. :-( Many designers do their BOM's thru their blog which is easily accessible to all. Might that be possible here?
