I have pictures of quite a few of the quilts from the auction and will share them with you. Hand quilted quilts have become a rare commodity it today's fast paced world.
Isn't this exquisite?
I spent most of the day yesterday cooking dinner for family. We enjoyed a warm cozy evening together....and Bruce received computer help from our son in law, Jess. :-)
"Never neglect the little things. Never skimp on that extra effort, that additional few minutes, that soft word of praise of thanks, that delivery of the very best that you can do. It does not matter what others think, it is of prime importance, however, what you think about you. You can never do your best, which should always be your trademark, if you are cutting corners and shrinking responsibilities. You are special. Act it. Never neglect the little things." -Og Mandino
When I read this, it occurred to me that it is all about slowing down.....kind of like the slow sewing philosophy.
