The Lucy Boston quilt......

Lil, who is a part of our quilt group is working on the Lucy Boston quilt.  Every month I wait with great anticipation to see the progress she's made.

This is a hand piecing project.....slow stitching.

By fussy cutting and the different arrangement of fabrics, each block look entirely different.

More close ups to observe her wonderful placement of fabrics.

This quilt will be an heirloom!

Lil tried machine applique......and decided this one block was all she wanted to do......she is a hand stitching gal.  She is making this one block into a small quilt to donate for the state guild annual meeting.
Bruce and I spent a big full day cutting kits and catching up on all kinds of stuff.
"Do you remember the things you were worrying about a year ago?  How did they work out?  Did you waste a lot of fruitless energy on account of most of the,?  Didn't most of them turn out alright after all?"  -Dale Carnegie
