A new week.....

Anyone who know me, also knows how much I love a good donut! :-)  Julie and I treated ourselves to a donut one morning and this is the napkin that came with them.  I also love a tasty muffin for breakfast......and a friend of mine had the nerve to tell me that eating a muffin was like having cake for breakfast.  :-(   Let me tell you that was startling news and I'm not certain that I agree.  After all there are muffins with bran, nuts, carrots, and fruit.  I have the amazing talent of rationalization.  I tend to hang to information that supports my habits.  I really fell whole heartedly for the information that chocolate has health benefits!

Enough about donuts and muffins....this is a quilt from the quilt show at Road to California.  It is stunning.  I'm sorry I did not get the information on the quilt.

However, I do have the information connected with the above quilt.

I absolutely loved this quilt and spent a bit of time checking it out.

The quilting was spectacular.

This original design will be a raffle quilt for the quilt show in Houston in 2017.

  2. Yes, I was the friend that said a muffin is the same as cake. Your muffin may contain carrots, nuts and raisens, so does carrot cake. Muffins also have sugar and flour just like cake.

  5. Hope you don't mind that I 'borrowed' your donut napkin photo for my wallpaper on my work computer. It makes me smile. Love your blog and all of the other lovely photos. Hearing about your shopping and trips saves me a lot of money and fills me with inspiration. Thank you!
