A bit more of show and tell......

.....from our visit to the thrift shop.

I like angels, but this angel has a way frightening face!  You can see from the background that the shop had a big variety of stuff to sort through.  Even some quilts high up on the shelf.

This apron was from the era when every house wife wore an apron.....this was a typical look.

I became all nostalgic when I spied this item high up on a shelf.  We used something like this to supply water to baby chicks when they first arrived on our farm.  It was an exciting time for me as a child, because I loved the little fluff of feathers that peeped!  They would arrive early in the spring when the nights were still cold, so we had a heat lamp for them to snuggle under.

I admired the carving on the back of this shelf.

Greenery arranged on a garden rake.

The kind of cat my husband would approve of.  I grew up with cats, and I love them.  Chad and Abbie have two cats which are loving fur balls!

I have these two groups of fat quarters to give a way today to the first two people that email me with their name and address.
