More from France....

More inspiration from our friends from France.  This border really softens the quilt and gives it quite a different look.  I see that Andree has the same little yellow flowers blooming in her grass as I do!  :-)

Sophie has chosen these restful blues and grays with just a touch of black.

The cream colored background gives this quilt and entirely different feel.  I love the use of the stripe fabric in this one also.  Absolutely charming!

The stitching around the edges of the circles is a nice touch.  Perhaps it is raw edge applique....I can't see for sure.

A lovely piece of art.  I love that Cocette added the one pieced circle....a lovely touch.

We can just see a section of this quilt which looks Asian inspired.

There will be a few more quilts tomorrow.  I've enjoyed seeing everyone's interpretation of the original.  Everyone is showing us a peek into their individual personalities.

The older a person becomes, you understand how true this statement is.
