On the road again.....

Early this morning we left for California, with plans to teach in California and Arizona, then on to Wisconsin for a retreat in Spring Green.

Thimbles and Threads is a new quilt shop and retreat center in Draper, Utah.  I visited there the other day and have a few pictures to share with you.

Everything about the shop and the accommodations at the retreat center are fabulous.  I was in awe from the moment I fist approached the front door.

And then I stepped inside!

There was something wonderful for everyone.

Huge spacious class rooms....

The bedroom accommodate 3 people, are all beautiful.  Each bedroom we visited was decorated with a different theme.

Robes laid out on the bed.

There is a beautiful, spacious dining room and kitchen, comfortable cozy places to gather and stitch, and a lovely outside deck and patio area.  Everything one would require to enjoy a fabulous retreat.  They have a great schedule of teachers scheduled throughout the year.  You will want to check this out!

Since I am leaving for a bit, I will do my monthly drawing for June upon my return.  I plan on returning home in time for Father's Day.  I will try and take lots of pictures to share with you.  And don't forget I love it when you share pictures with me, so that I have them to share on my blog too.

  2. I'm so envious that you are going to Spring Green. It's one of the few places I didn't make it to when we were in Wisconsin for 18 mos. But, I still would like to visit. I keep track of Country Sampler online. Love their stuff. Is that part of the retreat?

  3. Your pictures of the canyon really made me homesick for Utah. I'm originally from Ogden, but now live in East TN near the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Love those Utah canyons and streams. Kweather78@aol.com
