Traditional Primitives....

I was next door neighbors to Missie Carpenter of Traditional Primitives.  I was so pleased to get to know her better, and was inspired by her beautiful designs.

I thought this was such a clever idea.  Missie does needle punch and builds around it to make adorable little quilts that can be used in a variety of ways.

Her work has inspired me to try my hand at needle punch.  I ordered my supplies to get started from her on line shop.

Missie has also made needle punch coasters.

And a needle punch pin cushion.

This is Missie's sweet daughter who came with to help in the booth.  She is sitting in front of a spectacular quilt called, "Garden of the King."

And here are more of her great designs.

A sweet little quilt.....

....and another with a needle punch center.

I especially love the suns.

  2. Missy does wonderful designs and her mix of punch needle and quilting is a beautiful combination.

  3. "Thank You!!" for a great show!! Loved every second!!

  4. Thanks Norma! It was so wonderful to get to know you a little better! I hope you enjoy Punchneedle as much as I do. It kept me busy most of the way home from beautiful Salt Lake City. You live in an Awesome place!

  5. How funny this is! I too have been wanting to try needle punch. I bought all my supplies including a pattern but have yet to pull the punch out to give it a go. Maybe soon???? :)
