"Autumn.....

....the year's last, loveliest smile! -John Howard Bryant

While running errands today, fall foliage worthy of a picture!

The real beauty is found at higher elevations in the mountains.  We simply have been so occupied, that we haven't found ourselves in the mountains as of yet. Hoping that will change in the near future.

A bit more shopping.

Once again, the stories they might tell.....the places they've been and the things they could bare witness too.

Kindness is always appropriate and in style.

What an elegant piece of furniture.

Craftiness.

Gorgeous quilting.

I likes the duck.

An angel fashioned from a piece of an old quilt.

"Hope is all I got.  Hope gets you through the night."  This is a line I copied down from a recent novel which I enjoyed very much.  The title is Hotel on the corner of Bitter and Sweet.

  1. I love the improved 9-patch quilt. I would love to find a pattern for it.

I just finished reading Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet and had a hard time putting it down.
