A special Day.....

This evening our son Ben arrives for a visit.  We are all so very excited.  Let the celebrating begin!!! We start tonight when we meet his plane.

This is the beautiful creation of a talented quilter.  Her name is Linda Runolson.  She is from the Bay Area in California and came with her friend to Kansas City for the retreat Primitives of the Midwest.  This was a table runner, but we talked in class how easily it could be turned into a square......and that is just what she did.  I love it!  Linda, thanks for sharing.

Julie and I left Lincoln on Thursday morning and arrived at Cozad, Neb. Thursday afternoon.  That eve. I taught this little make and take for the upcoming holiday season.  Several finished during the class time.  Then I taught a class on Friday, and a trunk show Friday evening.  The retreat was sponsored by Prairie Point Junction in Cozad.  The retreat was out of town at a beautiful church camp.  During the Friday class we had deer visiting us just outside the large glass windows in the class room.

If you are traveling down I 80 you must stop and visit this charming shop.

Their inventory of their wool is absolutely fabulous.

The store does a large mail order business, so if you're not traveling that direction, you must visit that!
