Winter Wonderland.....we continue to wait expectantly for our winter wonderland.  Let it snow...let it snow....Let it snow!!!

Joy In the Morning.....will be an ongoing class which I will be teaching at Quilts Etc.  It will be a joy to gather every other week to progress on this quilt.  Also a wonderful way to forge friendships and create good memories!

Today, I am back at the museum in Lincoln, Nebraska.  On my last visit, Blackberry Primitives arranged for us to have a behind the scenes tour.  We were shown some very old quilts which are archived there.  I wish I remembered the exact dates, but take my word for it, some of these were not only very old, but quite fragile.

On this lovely piece, All of the circular flowers were stuffed.  I was so inspired by seeing the artistic creativeness of all of these quilts.

This quilt was the most inspiring of all for me.  I guess that is why I have so many pictures of different sections. The dog in the center was stuffed, and stood raised above the quilt.

Velvet was used for some of the different elements in the quilt.

I especially fell in love with all of the leaves, especially these created on the black background.

I loved this sweet flower most of all!

"Technology is nothing.  What's important is that you have faith in people, that they're basically good and smart, and if you give them the tools, they'll do wonderful things with them."
-Steve Jobs

On this note,  who knew that in the wrong hands this technology can be devastating.  It is all about integrity in using what technology has given us.  I love the friendships, encouragement, inspiration we can share and enjoy because of the internet.
