I figured Spring was official the minute.....

......the moment I hung a basket with a bunch of Forsythia on my front door.  And then I woke up to this!

This was a reminder that Mother Nature is a force to adapt to.  You can see a cluster of tulips, sturdy and waiting for spring weather along with me.

A cheery welcome.

And these bunnies are busily doing their thing.....kicking up their heels in welcoming the season. :-)

This pattern will be given away to the first responder.  Email me at norma@timelesstraditionsquilts.com     Please remember to include your address.

The designer of the bucket which appeared in a post a few days ago is,  Under the Garden Moon.  Just google that and it will take you to the website.  About the circle-petal quilt....I will produce a pattern once the quilt is completed.  I'm now beginning the border so it should be available in the near future.

I'm still finding time to read every morning, and I will share a quote from the book I'm enjoying.  The title is the Bakers daughter by, Sarah McCoy.
" No one is good or bad by birth or nation or religion.  Inside, we are all masters and slaves, rich and poor, perfect and flawed.  We love despite ourselves."
Enjoy the week end.  We will no doubt be watching the NCAA
tournament, because that is what we do!!!  Bruce went to pick up his dad for dinner, and to enjoy watching a basketball game with us.  This makes us happy.  Find your joy!

  3. No snow for us except in the mountains but we had glorious rain. It washed off the winter dust and when the sun comes out it will be beautiful. Love your quilts and projects.

  5. Your bunnies are so cute, both the dancing and the pillow in the chair.
I've enjoyed reading your quotes when you post them. I find this one is a keeper. Borrowed this book from my local library. I frequently find great quotes and book recommendations from fellow quilters.
Looking forward to seeing the petal quilt completed. It is so beautiful.
