....about the huge snow fall in parts of the country. I sympathize with you all. I'm watching my tulips getting ready to bloom and a few other early flowering plants ready to do their thing, and this is all so exciting! I love big snows in the winter, but run out of enthusiasm at this time of the year. Stay warm and just keep on stitching.

A utility quilt from the 1830's. Perhaps there are some feed sacks used in this quilt.
I found the red in the border to be quite over powering.
The design itself is clever, and it has been repeated in many ways over the years.
