And A New Week Begins......

And with new beginnings bring endless possibilities!

This is today's pattern give away.  It will go to the first person who responds and remembers to include their mailing address.  The last pattern was send to Linda Donzello.  Linda does beautiful work, and I can hardly wait to see what she does with the pattern she won.
This pattern Pine and Holly is one of 20 patterns which can be found in my book, My Quilting Legacy.  It a book done by Quilt Mania so you can imagine how beautiful it is, because all of their books are exceptionally done.  Email me at  norma@timelesstraditionsquilts.com

I want to share the quote that is found on the pattern.

This is the new table runner which I completed this past week.  It is an easy pattern and quickly finished.  I've decided to hand quilt it for some crazy reason so that will take the most time, but hand quilting I find to be soul soothing.

Here is a close up look.  I will be making kits for this.  The black background behind the applique is Monk's Cloth by Diamond Textile.  The texture of it is fabulous, but I've found it a bit difficult to hand quilt through.

Here is Debra's sewing bag which she brought to our Quilt Group.  Isn't it just so beautiful and creative?  Her own design.

My friend Tina Dickinson, took this class from me last year at a retreat at Bryce Canyon.  She has it completed!  I love this quilt Tina, and thank you for sharing.

And good for you, the leftovers became an interesting back, and most of all you labeled your quilt!

Words to live by for everyone who takes classes from me.  We strive to do our best, and our best may not be perfect...…..and that is quite alright!  More importantly is to enjoy the journey.  I was just explaining to my husband today at lunch, that the warm friendships I've shared on my quilting journey, have been an indescribable gift.  At this time of Thanksgiving, this friendship is one of my most precious gifts.
