Cold and rainy today.....

……. a perfect day for home made chicken soup, and the perfect solution for my cold.

I don't know if I have mentioned this, but our daughter's and their husbands and Bruce and I will be traveling to the Netherlands in the near future.  We will also be traveling to Belgium.  I am just starting to get excited!  The girls are acting as our travel agents and have everything planned.  We will just be along for a good time.

How can you tell this is the home of a quilter?  Quilts tucked here and there and everywhere!

This chair caught my eye.  Isn't it just so cute?!  And it swivels.  Plus it's full of inspiration for a wool project.

A few of my favorite things - quilts, fabric, quilt books, and baskets.

This  looked familiar..... Autumn Splendor,  a table runner I made a few years ago.

A new applique project which Angela is working on.  She is taking applique classes from Jeanna Kimball.

A wool quilt designed by Kathy Campbell, on the back of this couch.

One wall of her sewing room...…..and fabric piled here and there!
I determined that she was afflicted with a similar disease common to most quilters. :-)
