My childhood was influenced by the series of books written by Laura
Ingalls Wilder. I grew up on a farm in Minnesota that was situated
approximately half way between the location of Little House on the Prairie
and By the Banks of Plum Creek. There are still some small plots of
virgin prairie set aside nearby. It is here that one might gather
Prairie Bouquets. This quilt motif is designed to look like a bunch of
wildflowers a child might gather for her mother. I can envision this on a
dining room table.
