Creativity Abounds

What a whole lot of sweetness this is........we were all charmed by Valerie's baskets and berries.

The soft pastels speak of  Spring for sure.  She has used wool for the little yellow flowers.  She could not recall who the designer of the pattern was.

A peak at the back.......beautiful fabric.  Well done Valerie.

Kerry wowed us all with her baskets.....bold and beautiful.  It is a pattern from Australia that was featured in Quilt Mania a while back.

Marilyn has been busy too.....she is taking a class which is making Dresden plates out of Kaffe fabrics.  We will be anxious to observe the expansion of this project.

Deborah has been working on these sassy and spectacular wool birds for a while.  Deborah is a master at embellishment....I wish I had taken a close up for you to see her amazing work.

Loraine shared this elegant little piece of art.....it also has some very fine embellishment touches.

Marilyn shared with us this quilt she has been working on while she was recovering from hand surgery......causes one to wonder what she might accomplish with out hand surgery.  She had some of her finger joints fused because of degenerative arthritis.  This speaks of remarkable determination!

Liz and Jennifer have each made one of these adorable heart runners by Jan Patek.....not in time for Valentines day......but they will be ready for next year.  However, they would be lovely out all year long.

Last but certainly not least, Trudy shared this amazing table runner.  It is made from wool and is a Sue Spargo design.  We have an industrious talented group of creative women who gather. I always go home inspired, but more than that my heart has been warmed by their friendship......it is all very good.

Have a great week end and please ignore the little squiggly lines under the names that blogger refused to accept as correct spelling.
