The retreat continues....

......I hope you are still enjoying and are being inspired by the photos from the retreat.

Patti Skousen is sharing her zig-zag quilt.  Bright and cheerful.  I have many of her projects to share with you today.

This quilt was inspired by a trip sisters took to Africa together.

An absolute masterpiece!

A couple different takes on the Civil War Brides Quilt.  This is what I aim to do when I grow up!!:-)

An abundance of applique expertise was shared.

Bright Folk Art with wool......notice what she is wearing on her feet!  Id like some slippers just like those.  Please!

Here is more of Patti's talent on display.....there is a different little hanging for each month.

This design is by Green Tomatoes and is called Jazzman.  Patti put this quilt together at the retreat.

Sisters Arlene and Dee sat next to us and were working on these cheerful quilts.

On my rounds of discovery I came upon this pin keep attached to the sewing machine and thought it was a good idea.

Goodness and Grace and Home.  Patti created this charming and sweet pin keep duo.

"This is the gift --to have the wonderful capacity to appreciate again and again, freshly and naively, the basic goods of life, with awe, pleasure, wonder, and even ecstasy."
-Abraham Maslow

This week has certainly flown by as the weeks seem to do. I hope you have a marvelous week end with family and those dear to you.
