And the quilt show continues.....

....with a feast for the eyes!

I believe this quilt was created by Marion McClellangreen and was titled Retro Flowers.  Isn't it cheerful?

Yellow, Yellow With a Little Color.... Pam Clarke.  I believe this yellow was called chrome-yellow.

This 9 patch as an antique quilt from the collection of Pam Clarke.  It is hard to beat a nine patch in my estimation.

This is another antique quilt top from Pam Clarkes collection.

This Dresden Plate quilt top was purchased by Pam and she did a marvelous job at quilting it.  I am definitely thrilled by old quilts and the wonderment of the legacy someone has passed on.  If only we had the story behind the work of love.

I have an amusing tale to tell.  Over the weekend while enjoying my morning time on the patio, my attention was drawn from my reading by a loud and boisterous noise coming from a sweet looking little squirrel.  She was thumping her tail with frustration and trying to display authority.  She was trying to suggest to the quail who were dining on spilled sunflowers beneath the feeder to save some for her.  The quail managed to tune the squirrel out, so she decided to take matters into her own hands.......she launched off the fence post and landed on the quail.  Wow, what a nature action show!  The quail managed to exchange places on the post and return her own protest......moral of the story, can't we just all get along.  :-)

Enjoy this new week......there is so much about life to celebrate.
