Prairie Point Junction.....

.......A quilt store we visited in Cozad, Nebraska.

A great idea for an old window frame.  I love plaid home spuns.

There was a lovely selection of wool to choose from.....

And great ideas to use from wool.

The store had a wide selection to choose from.  Something for every taste.

If you look closely this quilt is made from nine patches and a solid square.  The finished quilt is really striking and would be very easy to construct.

In 1873 sister's Angeline and Augusta Kimberly from Boston made a quilt with similar blocks for their sister.  The named it the streets of Boston.  The quilt has intrigued me for some time, so I made a block this week end.  This is my version.  This quilt is in the early planning stages, so we shall see what evolves.
