New Patterns.....

This design is called Crossings.  I received some indigo and cheddar fabric from Riley Blake and decided to add a few of my cheddars to mix it up a bit.  I tea dyed the Cheddars from Riley Blake, as they were just a wee bit too bright for civil war fabrics.

I have a couple of close ups so you can get a better look at the fabrics.  I will begin kitting this quilt in the near future.

And, here is a close up of the sashing.  I have a new person who will be the administer of my web site and we are in a transition phase, and should have the new items on my web site in a week or so.

I will be teaching in Ohio in April, and was asked to teach needle turn applique.  This will be one of the items I will be teaching.

This will be the other one I will be teaching.

Tomorrow I will be leaving town to teach in Brigham City, Utah.
I always think I am too busy for teaching, and then I teach, and am reminded of why I do it.......I love connecting with all of the lovely people who take the classes.  I'm sure I benefit as much or more than they do.  I will take plenty of pictures of the charming shop called, Village Dry Goods.

"Its not about what you have or what you've accomplished.  It's about who you've lifted up and made better.  It's about what you've given back."

I will be back on Monday.

  1. Have fun teaching; it's always good to reconnect with friends and meet new ones. I like your teaching patterns for the needleturn class. It looks like you will cover some of the "trouble" spots with points, circles and how to build a pattern.
