The thrifting continues.....

I decided that is something I can make, so I was not tempted......a very good idea to be filed a way. It would be cuter I do believe with a fabric mat.

This is an excellent shop to visit, I saw many things to re purpose.  I was drawn to this table, but didn't think it would fit in the overhead compartment on the airplane.

These goodies were in a shop we stopped to visit in Wisconsin.

Treasures galore!

A little of this and quite a lot of that!

It is always lovely to be with a friend, but sometimes I enjoy my own company quite well........time for contemplation and introspection.

Those were the carefree days of life.......the suspension and thrill of accompanying Nancy Drew in her roadster to solve intriguing mysteries.

I thought this bird to be quite unique.

This angel has quite a wary look on her face....maybe it's just those beady eyes.

I'd love to make a string of birds.

I have a copper boiler like this one tucked under the bed.....I actually think mine is larger.....it is filled with my home spun scraps.

I've been having an urge to make some of those cookie recipes I've saved on Pinterest......but then I'd just be tempted to eat them.  The idea is still being weighed in the balance.

  2. I just love this post....love each one, but the Nancy Drew books & enjoying your own company really resonated with me. And today was one of those cookie eating days....I ate four! Thanks for the lift!
