Since I am writing this on Valentines Day.....

....and you will be reading this the following day, I hope you've all created warm and cozy memories of the day.  My husband has a planned something special for this evening, so I am patiently awaiting for the occasion to arrive.  My heart is telling me that I chose my Love and still love my choice!

This is a quilt which I made at a retreat many moons ago.  I still love it and enjoying pulling it out of hiding every February!  The pillow is a pattern from a Kindred Spirits book.

This is a new design which I have completed.  It will be called Flower's from my Window.  I will be making kits for this one.

This is a new table mat, Follow the Sun.  I will be kitting this also.

Another table runner just bound at the retreat.  I will call this Patriotic Bouquets, and I will be kitting this one also.

I am busily stitching on this new design with autumn in mind, but still living in the moment!  :-)    I plan on kitting this one also.....I've not come up with a name yet.  I am always open to suggestions.  I will kit this one also.  I have made several stacks of
supplies just waiting for when the patterns are completed and I can start the kits.

A close up peek.

I am back to the quilt show of Mimi and Diane's, which I started yesterday.

Both of the girls love Halloween quilts and they had several to share with us.

This one is from a pattern I designed many moons ago.  I will finish up with their quilts tomorrow.

  1. Oh, the beauty of a normal day. I became acutely aware of this almost 30 years ago when my sweet, strong Daddy died suddenly. I love the quote! Thanks for the reminder!

  2. Do you by chance remember the name or pattern of the heart quilt in the first photo?

  3. Norma,
I love the star/heart quilt. Do you have a pattern for purchase for this? Thanks so much for sharing. I love opening your emails to see each surprise you have for us to enjoy. Thanks again. Melanie

  4. Is there a pattern for the quilt with the hearts and stars ( the one in the chair with the Kindred Spirits pillow)? I just love it!

  5. Your new designs are very nice. i like them all especially the crows and Flowers From My Window. May I suggest, since you stated so, that you name the crow quilt Crows in My Garden. Every fall we have large numbers of crows going in our back field and garden announcing their presence with astonishing boisterousness!

  7. Your designs are so irresistible! :-) A suggestion for a name is either "Autumn's Bittersweet Crow" or "Autumn's Bountiful Crow"... no matter what you name it... I'm definitely going to stitch this one when you make the kits available! :-)
