M.I.A......

....I have stayed well on winter, and now that Spring is here I have come down with a doozy of a cold, a virus the Dr. says.  Just when I'm needing to be busy getting ready for our trip to Nantes, France.
I'm counting my blessings however, that it came now and not the day before flying.  There is always a silver lining! :-)

Today I will share a few quilts which I ran across in an antique shop in Nebraska.  Since I was not planning on purchasing a quilt, I did not feel like I could ask to take them off the rack where they were hanging.  The quilts are all remarkable!

There were information sheets on all of the quilts.  This signature quilt was fabulous!

Beautiful hand quilting was to be found on all of them.  Joyous was the day when I found time to hand quilt, especially around a frame with other women.

It would have been so nice to see the quilts in their entirety.

I just had to take a close up of the black and while fabric with the circle of flowers.......just so sweet.

Today is the second Wednesday drawing.  The winners for the month of April are - Diane Mehring, Lynn Fogwill, and Patti Knisley.  Please contact me with your free pattern choice, and do not forget to include your address.  norma@timelesstraditionsquilts.com
