Autumn wakes me up.....

...I seem to be energized with the fresh chill in the air.  I'm considering apple crisp, pumpkin bread, and the scent of mulled cider.

Mother Nature excelling at her work!

Autumn Time Pillow.......so pleased to have it home to enjoy.

Magnificent!

My sweet friend Charlene, a mother of 4 adorable children.....

....and her dear Mom came to visit!:-)  Lucky me.  Charlene had just completed her Season's Quilt.  She said it has taken 2 years, but its finished.  They brought yummy salads for lunch.  A sweet part of my day.

The enduring charm of a nine patch!

I love how the vibrant stars float on the white background.

A tapestry hand bag with a silver clasp. Fancy!

Dresden Plate quilt and a child's cook ware.

This appears to be a warm utility quilt.

There I am once again in the mirror.  Isn't this an absolutely charming piece?!  The piece of furniture, not me! :-)

I am not familiar with the name of this quilt design.

Nor this one....I do like how this has been made.  I think it would be quite easy to replicate.  I'll have to play around with this one.

This is what I've been busy with today.  This is the journal which I will be teaching at Blackberry Primitives coming up the end of this month.  Singing For Joy Journal, is available on my web site.

"If I were asked to give what I consider the single most useful bit of advice for all humanity, it would be this:  Expect trouble as an inevitable part of life, and when it comes, hold your head high.  Look it squarely in the eye, and say, "I will be bigger than you.  You cannot defeat me."  Then repeat to yourself the most comforting words of all, "This too will pass."  Ann Landers
