Yes, it seems like summer......

.......with temperatures in the 80's.  It may be one of those years where we bypass Spring.  

I usually write my blog post in the evening.  Last evening I was teaching and decided I was too tired when I returned home.  I was teaching at Quilts Etc. and they are getting ready for their open house for new class sign ups.  I will be on the schedule teaching Flag Day and The Virginia Reel.  Honestly it is a pleasure gathering with all of these lovely ladies who soon become your friends.

This is a beautiful quilt being taught.

I hope you can see from this photo what a clever way this Lemoyne star is put together.  This avoids Y seams, just like the porch quilt I just finished.

I marvel at the brilliant people who devise this ruler with a specific use in mind.

I thought this was fresh great design, called Hugs and Kisses.

Now, isn't he adorable.....especially those eyes!

These hexagons are devised into the strips.  Also clever.

This pieced bear is really clever and cute as well.

I was smitten with this fresh modern quilt.
