Getting back to normal.....

…….but it's kind of lonely after all of the company has left!  It has been so cozy and fun to hang out with family and friends......heart warming is what it is!

We have frost on the pumpkins, and quite a bunch of snow in the mountains.  On the news last night it showed skiers at the resorts.  I am hoping for a big snowy winter, to fill up all of the reservoirs.  We are on the dry side.

I decided to share with you some of our antiquing meanderings from our summer road trip last summer.  I really do love simple uncomplicated quilts such as this one.

I was smitten with this Noah's Ark picture.

And this picture and verse warmed my heart and thought.  We all have crossed paths with "Folks" like this.

Who doesn't feel charmed by a Wysocki picture?!

Beautiful shade of blue.  There is so much one can create with the Drunkards Path pattern.

These brought memories of the Spring days on the farm when Dad would bring home boxes of little fuzzy, yellow, balls of cheeping chicks.  And then taking their little beaks and introducing them to the water.

There were many hand quilted quilts in this shop.  There is something in me that want to rescue them all, knowing want it means to make a quilt.

"Do not think lightly of good, that nothing will come of it.  A whole water pot will fill up from dripping drops of water. - Gautama Buddha
