Gaylyn, shared with us the Christmas Stocking she is making for her grand children. She is fortunate to have some new arrivals this past year, so she has made a few new stockings. The angel designs are for the grand daughters.
They are all so sweet!
Barbara shared a couple of stockings which she made and is still using.
We met at Barbara's home. It is always such a treat to visit there. I love all of her quilts. She has been a mentor to many. She hand quilts all of her quilts, and enjoys hand piecing.
I love her use of color.
This Trees Around the World, is a Red Wagon design from past days. Barbara taught this quilt long ago, and I took it and have my own quilt which I bring out every winter. I love it for many reason, but especially because it works well all winter long.
These tiny stars in this table topper called out to me. I'd love to make some of them and see what happens.
The colors in this wall hanging are so subtle, and the randomness of the design cause your eye to travel. And then the quilting gives so much interest and motion.
"At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lit the flame within us." -Albert Schweitzer
I feel a great gratitude to you, Norma. You are very inspirational!
